Responsibilities:
Provide consumer & sensory insights to I&R projects:
Partner pro-actively with Project Managers to define questions and outcomes from consumer and sensory insight to add value and influence project's success. Provide guidance on use of sensory evaluation and consumer methodologies. Play an active part in cross-functional project teams, from front-end innovation (contribute insights, ideation, concept building) until launch (knowledge transfer to Operations, guide consumer-centric sensory specifications). Build sensory & consumer preference knowledge on product
Experience:
Build and leverage knowledge to identify growth and/or cost optimization opportunities. Support Product and Process Mastership to better understand the effect of recipe and process parameters on sensory attributes and consumer acceptance. Manage and execute consumer and sensory research studies with excellence:
Define clear and time-bound plans and prioritize resources available. Manage studies:
plan, design, then analyze and present results in line with best practices and with impact to the cross-functional team and business partners. Ensure collaboration with data providers in order to ensure lean and transparent execution. Ensure CSI continuous improvement and team development:
Be responsible for continuous improvement of consumer & sensory practices. Support Quality Management to ensure Products Sensory Consistency:
Guide Quality Management in Markets (head office and factories) Provide training to the factory sensory analysts and assist them with the implementation of In/Out tests on the category, as needed. Build and share knowledge:
Contribute to improve sensory and consumer competencies in R&D and within Nestle. Contribute to internal trainings and to knowledge sharing in the CSI Network across Nestle. JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Knowledge):
Master degree on Sensory Science, Consumer Science, Marketing Research, Food Technology, Food Science or other related fields Min. 3 years of experience in a wide range of sensory analysis and consumer product testing techniques and their applications, including the integration of both (e.g. preference mapping/category appraisal studies) Experience leading sensory/consumer activities and/or working with sensory/consumer agencies Demonstrated knowledge of statistics and statistical analysis, design of experiments Experience in marketing research with exposure to a variety of consumer product design testing is a plus Experience leading ideation workshops a plus Experience in consumer-packaged goods, from R&D and business side is a plus Software knowledge:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
