Customer Service/Sales Telephone Representatives On-Site in Fremont, MichiganandWork At Home opportunities includes English and Spanish speaking positions.
Base salary plus incentives.
POSITION
Summary:These positions represent Gerber Life through providing exceptional sales and service to existing customers.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Meet customer and business needs by servicing and selling trusted life and health insurance solutions.
Engage in consultative conversations with customers in providing competitive, industry-leading life insurance and other financial products.
Offer superior customer service by responding to customer inquiries via multi-media factors to address a variety of customer inquiries which include but are not limited to notices of death, billing problems, payments, and policy change requests.
Handle customer inquiries in a manner consistent with compliance and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
High School diploma
State insurance license - Company will provide training and expenses to obtain required multi-state license. Candidate must pass state exam within three weeks and secure Michigan license within six weeks from date of hire for continued employment.
Full-time positions that requires the ability to work evenings, Saturdays, and Company Holidays.
Experience:
2 plus years Customer Service experience
Selling experience or aptitude
Contact center experience and knowledge considered a plus
Insurance industry experience and knowledge considered a strong advantage
Work At Home:
Must live within 80 miles of Gerber Life Insurance, located in Fremont, MI
High speed internet connection that, once tested, will meet the data and speed requirements of Gerber Life Insurance (Satellite and Cellular internet providers are not eligible)
Must have a home workspace large enough for two monitors, docking station, mouse and keyboard. A quiet isolated workspace free of distractions is required
Must be able to attend 10 weeks of training in the Fremont, MI Contact Center location
SKILLS:
Excellent PC, data entry and word processing software skills
Quality and Customer Service advocate
Strong and accurate business English, verbal and written communication skills (grammar and spelling)
Excellent listening skills
Ability to multitask efficiently
Ability to work a flexible schedule - including evenings and Saturdays
Strong Bilingual competency considered a plus (English and Spanish)
