Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing,Graduate of an approved school of Nursing, Bachelors of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS,CPR & BCLS- Within 90 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)- Within 90 days of hire
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)- Within 180 days of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification (ENPC)- Within 180 days of hire
Trauma Nursing Core Curriculum (TNCC)- Within 1 year of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience - 1 year of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in clinical
National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification (NIH)- Within 1 year of hire

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
